Madeleine is a committed and diligent solicitor with a growing practice in criminal law, known for her strong work ethic, attention to detail and client-focused approach.
She graduated with a double degree in Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of International Development in July 2025, before completing her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. Madeleine was admitted to practice as a Barrister and Solicitor in the Supreme Court of South Australia in September 2025. In recognition of her academic achievement during her Bachelor studies, she was offered membership to the Golden Key International Honour Society. During her studies, Madeleine also undertook a study abroad program at the University of Southampton in England, where she further developed her legal knowledge in an international context.
Madeleine commenced her career at Caldicott + Isaacs Lawyers as a law clerk in July 2024 and transitioned into her role as solicitor following her admission in September 2025. Prior to this, she gained valuable experience in administrative and clerical roles at a criminal law firm, as well as in employment and family law matters, providing her with a well-rounded foundation across multiple areas of practice.
She has appeared in regional and suburban courts across South Australia and has managed matters in the Magistrates Court and the District Court, including Youth Court proceedings. Madeleine has significant experience instructing counsel in complex trials, including matters involving murder and manslaughter, and regularly assists senior counsel throughout District and Supreme Court proceedings. She also has experience preparing and appearing in bail applications, and has assisted clients in tribunal matters, including proceedings before the SANFL Tribunal.
Madeleine has a particular interest in Youth Court matters and complex criminal cases, including serious sexual offence matters. She is dedicated to ensuring her clients feel supported and informed at every stage of the legal process, while working tirelessly to protect their rights and achieve the best possible outcomes.
