Serious Sexual Assault

Our client was charged with a number of serious sexual assault allegations including rape.

Our client emphatically denied the allegations and our team represented the client at trial as junior counsel being led by Mr David Edwardson QC.

After a trial before a jury the client was acquitted of all charges.

The trial involved lengthy evidence by the complainant and under close scrutiny via cross-examination the complainant’s evidence was shown to be unreliable and ultimately unconvincing.

Notwithstanding our client’s emphatic denial of the allegations prior to committal it was unnecessary for our client to give evidence due to the way the evidence was presented in Court and the excellent presentation of our client’s case.

Unsurprisingly our client was extremely satisfied with the outcome.
