Circumstances

Defendant invited two females up to his hotel room at the Sebel Playford. Became intimate with one of the females. Defendant was angered when she refused sex. Punched female in the arm and then slapped her across the face. Followed them out of the room, believing they had stolen his wallet. Defendant was later contacted by police in relation to a car window that had been broken on the street in front of the hotel. It was suspected that he punched it in anger.
