B & C were charged with cultivating eight plants and possessing prescribed equipment.

Maximum Penalty:

Penalty Received: Mr Metanomski SM fined the clients $800.00, together with court costs and did not record a conviction against their names. An excellent result for the clients.

Our client was charged with being involved in the cultivation of plants. Our client was on parole for previously dealing in drugs.

Maximum Penalty:

Penalty Received: Our client was located at the premises however we were able to prove that there were no fingerprints or DNA or any connection to the property other than the fact of their mere presence at the premises which was not enough. The charges against our client were therefore adjourned.


Cultivate a Commercial Quantity of Controlled Plant, Possess Controlled Drug, namely Cannabis, Possess Prescribed Equipment.

Maximum Penalty:

Penalty Received: The client received the sentence of seven months and one week imprisonment, suspended upon his entering into a good behaviour bond to be of 18 months and not to consume any illicit drugs and be subject to testing of the same.

BL was originally charged with cultivate cannabis for sale and possession of a prohibited weapon.

Maximum Penalty:

Penalty Received: After negotiations with prosecution, the charge was downgraded to simply cultivate for personal use and a plea of guilty to possession of a prohibited weapon, namely throwing knives. He received a $400.00 fine.

Penalty Received: We managed to have our client dealt with by the court without recording a conviction and a $300 fine. Our client had arthritis and we managed to convince the court that the cannabis was for personal use.

Client was charged with possession of 12 cannabis plants, possession of prescribed equipment and diverting electricity.

Maximum Penalty:

Penalty Received: The client was convicted and fined $1,000.00 together with court costs, prosecution fees and victims of crime levy. This is an excellent result considering the client had previous offending of this nature. A very good result.


Our client was charged with the possession of 18 cannabis plants, possession of prescribed equipment and diverting electricty.

Maximum Penalty:

Penalty Received: We managed to have the charges downgraded to five plants from 18 plants. Our client received a $900 fine notwithstanding he had prior convictions for cannabis. An excellent result.

The client was charged with trafficking ecstasy, possession of firearms, fail to store ammunition and possessing an unregistered firearm.

Maximum Penalty:

Penalty Received: He received a total of three years and five months, with a two year non-parole period, suspended upon him entering into a $1,000.00 good behaviour bond, and to be under supervision for 12 months.

Our client was a young man, and was charged with trafficking ecstasy in a prescribed area. He admitted to trafficking against a background of doing so for a few months.

Maximum Penalty:

Penalty Received: Our client received a one year, nine month, two weeks and four days' imprisonment with a non-parole period of 10 months, suspended upon him entering into a bond in the sum of $1,000.00 to be of good behaviour for a period of 18 months. A very good result.

​Our client was charged with two counts of traffcking in controlled drug.

Maximum Penalty:

Penalty Received: Our client pleaded guilty to the offence and was sentenced to a term of imprisonment of three and a half years, with an 18 month non-parole period, suspended upon him entering into an 18 month good behavior bond, supervised by the Department of Corrections for 12 months. An excellent result for the client.

Trafficking in a large commercial quanitiy of a controlled drug.

Maximum Penalty:

Penalty Received: Defendant without conviction and placed on a 12 month good behaviour bond.

T was originally charged with three counts of trafficking of methylamphetamine. Craig Caldicott was successful in having the charges downgraded to one count of supply.

Maximum Penalty:

Penalty Received: Caldicott Lawyers were success in having the charges reduced to one count of supply. His Honour in the District Court dealt with the matter without recording a conviction and fined T $250.00. An excellent result.

Possess 15 grams of methylamphetamine, trafficking.

Maximum Penalty:

Penalty Received: On year, nine months imprisonment with a 14 month non-parole period suspended upon her entering into a $1,000.00 good behaviour bond for a period of three years, and to be under supervision for 12 months.


Our client was charged with trafficking methylamphetamine.

Maximum Penalty:

Penalty Received: Our client received a sentence of four months and one week's imprisonment, suspended upon him entering into a bond in the sum of $100 to be of good behaviour for a period of two years, and for 12 months to be under supervision of a correctional services officer and to undertake 100 hours of community work. An excellent result.


Our client was charged with Trafficking Methylamphetamine and possession of 10grams of methylamphetamine, 75% pure.

Maximum Penalty:

Penalty Received: Our client was sentenced to two years and ten months' imprisonment with a non-parole period of one years and five months, suspended upon him entering into a bond in the sum of $500 to be under supervision. This is an extremely good result considering that most persons with trafficking offences receive an immediate custodial sentence. Our client was very happy with the result.
