The facts of the case: Defendant and victim had been friends and neighbours for 25 years. Friendship deteriorated after the victim purchased a pet alpaca and subsequently failed to maintain her yard to standard that was satisfactory to the Defendant. Defendant began to threaten victim on the street/via telephone. Victim was 82 years of age.
